Vegetable Gardens

To control your garden beds and save your back it is a good idea to raise your garden beds.

You may use any material such as tin or plastic roofing to form the garden. Bales of hay may also be used but they break down after a time.

Commercial containers are also available from some garden centres.

Watering systems can be installed, especially drippers that are placed beneath the surface.

To decrease the amount of Slaters in your garden, cut squeezed onages in half and place them upside down on the surface. The next morning lift the peels up carefully and tip your catch into a container. The oranges may be used until the dry out.

To save your fruit in your garden from fruit flies, cover the branches with fine mesh after flowering until fruit is ripened. When makijng bags leave room for growth of leaves.
